Kathmandu, May 29. On Friday, US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that the multinational airplane manufacturer Boeing has temporarily stopped the deliveries of its 787 Dreamliner aircrafts.

According to the official statement, the aviation regulator is currently inspecting the production process of the new Dreamliner aircrafts. As the administration requires more documents regarding the flaws, the shipments of the planes are temporarily suspended.

“Boeing still needs to show that its proposed inspection method would meet FAA’s federal safety regulations,” the statement reads.

After 5 months of suspension, the production and delivery were resumed only in March. However, the aircrafts delivered between March and May will not be recalled by the company.
