Pakistan PM Imran Khan putting in efforts to save chair
Kathmandu, March 31. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is making desperate efforts to save his chair, as opposition has filed for no-confidence motion against him.
The voting for the motion is scheduled for April 4. Khan has been putting in desperate efforts to save his chair. Firstly, he praised India for its independent foreign policy. Then, he has proposed for the dissolving the parliament in exchange for his no-confidence motion.
Furthermore, he has chaired the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting on Thursday. He is also scheduled to address the nation on the same day.
Earlier this month, the opposition had tabled a no-confidence motion against Khan at the National Assembly, with 161 votes in favor.
