Kathmandu, August 27. Former Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd has revealed that China is trying to change their status quo, through their policies.

He said China is trying to change the reality in the ground by developing the region around Ladakh. He added the same applies for the Sino-Indian border.

The former minister said, “Do not see dissimilarity between China’s behaviour in Ladakh and elsewhere. Chinese strategic behaviour observes what the other side does on the ground.”

According to an article in India Today, Rudd advised India to think of a response if China comes forward to resolve border issues.

Moreover, he added that China and Pakistan’s relationship is an ‘all weather relationship’ but emphasized to understand Xi Jinping’s worldview.
