Nepal’s foreign minister attends coronation ceremony of King Charles III in London
Kathmandu, May 7. Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud attended the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty King Charles III at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday.
The embassy of Nepal in London confirmed that Minister Saud also participated in the King’s reception, which was hosted for the overseas representatives at Buckingham Palace.
During the occasion, Minister Saud had the opportunity to meet and interact with His Majesty the King, other members of the Royal Family, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, British Foreign Secretary, and other British Ministers. The embassy of Nepal also reported that Minister Saud held brief conversations with visiting leaders and ministers from around the world.
The historic occasion marked the coronation of the new King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms.
