Biden Assures Donors of Election Victory Despite Debate Concerns

Kathmandu, Jul 2: The US presidential election will be held in November. The performance of Democratic Party candidate and President Joe Biden in the presidential debate was not well-received, increasing concerns about his candidacy.
After his poor performance, Biden has assured his party’s donors that he can still win the election against Donald Trump.
The 81-year-old president attended campaign events in New York and New Jersey on Saturday, where he defended his performance in the CNN presidential debate.
“Thursday night wasn’t good for me, but Trump’s performance wasn’t good either,” Biden said at an event. He added, “I promise that I will win this election.”
Biden acknowledged the concerns raised by some Democrats regarding his suitability as a candidate but reaffirmed his decision to contest the election.
