Kathmandu, Oct 16: US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that there is no need for American military intervention in Gaza.
When asked why the US military might be involved, Trump dismissed the idea, saying, “I think we’ll handle it very well. We’ll help Israel — other countries are with us.”
He added that the US has signed agreements with several powerful nations that also oppose Hamas. “Many of these countries are strong military powers, and none of them support Hamas,” Trump said.
Trump further noted that while Hamas previously had backing from Iran, “it doesn’t have that support anymore.”
