NCP cadre Chaurasiya’s funeral carried on the eighth day of his death
Parsa. The funeral rite of Mukesh Chaurasiya, secretary of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bindabasini Rural Municipality Committee Parsa, has been performed after a week of his death. Following the registration of the First Information Report (FIR) by the police as per the complaint made by the family of the deceased, a postmortem was performed at Narayani Hospital and the dead body was cremated.
NCP Permanent Committee member and former Minister Matrika Prasad Yadav, central member Nagendra Chaudhary and Ram Chandra Shah were among other NCP leaders who draped the dead body in the party’s flag and paid their last tribute to Chaurasiya.
Chaurasiya had received serious injuries in a clash during the swearing in ceremony of the NCP Bindabasini Committee on October 22 and had died the next day.
