Nepal to have its first modern train unit today

Kathmandu. A train set, complete with engine and five bogies, is set to arrive at Janakpur on Friday. The train, manufactured in Chennai of India, is planned to operate in the Kurtha-Janakpur-Jayanagar route, the end terminals being Kurtha of Dhanusa, Nepal and Jayanagar of India.
