‘I won’t resign’: PM Oli

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he would not resign from his post because his resignation would lead the country to a total ruin. The prime minister made such a claim during the Inauguration program of the Manmohan Cardiac Center Annex Building.

‘“You tell me yourselves, will it be proper of me to resign now?” PM Oli asked the assemblage. “My resignation means preparing the nation for destruction, which I cannot do.”

He stated that he had not opted to become the prime minister himself but the wish of the people had made him take hold of the country’s rein. PM Oli added that he hadn’t used political propaganda or foul play to become the prime minister, but the support of the masses. He urged the public not to follow the rumors making rounds that he would resign and the government would change.

“Many have tried in many different ways to topple the government,” he said. “Whether inside the party or outside, there are people with negative attitudes and habit of criticizing everything that others do. Let’s not be affected by such trifles”.

PM Oli noted that people who wanted to create instability in politics and the country always try to do so but that he had always advocated for stability and would strive for it.
