Kathmandu, January 13. BBC has recently released a three part documentary series based on the ‘Jiah Khan suicide case’. Jiah Khan was a Bollywood actress who was found dead at her home, aged 25. While police declared it as a suicide, her family denies it.

The first episode was released on January 11, which lasts for 58 long minutes. The series titled as ‘Death in Bollywood’, seeks to investigate the case and presents the family’s view in the first episode, according to a review in The Telegraph. The article further elaborates how Jiah’s mother and sister spoke about the pain of losing her.

The first episode also shows some suspicion on the suicide as Jiah was to pick up her sister from the airport on the night of her death and the tracksuit she was wearing was never to be found. The marks and bruises on her body and neck also further raised those suspicions.

The review in The Telegraph mentions that photographs of Jiah’s dead body is also shown which makes viewing the episode rather difficult and uneasy.

Jiah was a part of movies such as Nishabd, Hosusefull and Ghajini.
