PM Cup Cricket: Samir Kandel from Gandaki makes half century

Kathmandu, January 15. The Prime Minister (PM)’s Cup National Men’s ODI Cricket Tournament has started today. A match between Tribhuvan Army Club and Gandaki Pradesh is being played at the premises of Tribhuvan University(TU) at Kirtipur.

Following the Army’s target of 288 runs, Samir Kandal of Gandaki has already struck a half-century. He was able to do so by striking five fours in 89 balls. Gandaki  scored 135 runs and lost 3 wickets in a span of 35 overs.

Army chose to bat first after winning the toss, scoring 287 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated overs.
