After “Radio School”, Tanahu NGO introduces “Phone School”

Kathmandu, June 12. In order to facilitate teaching-learning activities during the pandemic, Room to Read Nepal, a non-government organization(NGO) working in the field of education, has devised the concept of ‘phone school.’

The alternative method of teaching has been introduced in 33 schools of Tanahu. So far, 61 teachers have already received guidelines to conduct classes through mobile phones.

Programme Officer, LB Khadka told RSS that the alternative model of teaching was applied to compensate for the damage caused by the shutdown of schools.

The education-based NGO is well known for its recent projects on “Radio School” and “Online Library”.
