Imran Khan to continue as Pakistan PM until caretaker premier appointed

Kathmandu, April 4. Pakistani President Arif Alvi on Monday said that Imran Khan will remain the prime minister until an appointment for the caretaker premier. Khan will continue his duties according to Article 94 of the Constitution.
Earlier, PM Imran Khan was ousted by the Pakistan government after the parliament was dissolved.
Further, a no-confidence motion against Khan was rejected by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.
In recent developments, Khan has nominated former chief justice Gulzar Ahmed for the post of caretaker prime minister. However, Khan will also take part in a protest outside Islamabad’s red zone.
