Cambodia, Vietnam sign 11 documents to increase bilateral cooperation

Kathmandu, November 8. Cambodia and Vietnam has signed 11 documents to boost their bilateral ties and cooperation, according to a senior Cambodian official.

The signing ceremony of the documents was held at Peace Palace. It was signed by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, after their meeting.

Further, Eang Sophalleth, a personal assistant to Hun Sen revealed documents covered bilateral cooperations in areas of agriculture, trade, cross border transport, media, labor and banking among others. He added the two leaders discussed matters of common interest and international concern.

Vietnamese prime minister Minh Chinh arrived in Phnom Penh on Tuesday for a two-day official visit.
