Kathmandu Oct 2: Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ has created a new milestone in Indian cinema by earning a whopping 600 crores at the box office within just 25 days of its release. Directed by Atlee, the film has made a remarkable mark in the Bollywood industry.

According to reports in the Indian media, ‘Jawan’ has become the first Bollywood film to gross 600 crores. An analysis attributes this success to the “One Ticket Free” offer that significantly benefited the movie.

In its fourth week, ‘Jawan’ collected a net of 17.3 crores in India over the weekend. As of now, the film’s total collection, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, stands at a staggering 604.25 crores.

‘Jawan’ faced its biggest competitors, ‘Fukrey 3’ and ‘The Vaccine War,’ which were released on the same weekend. Despite the increased audience numbers, ‘Jawan’ continues to exhibit an impressive 23% growth in daily earnings.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani, ‘Jawan’ had a budget of 300 crores. The film had already proven its blockbuster status even before this recent record-breaking achievement.

What’s remarkable about ‘Jawan’ is its outstanding performance in the Hindi-speaking regions, where it has collected a net of 547.17 crores so far. Even after 25 days, ‘Jawan’ maintains its strong presence, indicating a sustained craze among the audience.

Beyond domestic earnings, ‘Jawan’ is making waves globally. It has earned approximately 371 crores worldwide, with Shah Rukh Khan gaining immense popularity in international markets, particularly in the United States, New Zealand, and Canada.

‘Jawan’ seems unstoppable, with no major releases to compete with at the moment. The recent releases, including ‘Fukrey 3’ and ‘The Vaccine War,’ have struggled at the box office. This underscores the continued dominance of ‘Pathan’ in the cinema world.
