Elon Musk Donates $75 Million to Donald Trump’s Campaign in Three Months
Kathmandu, Oct 16: Elon Musk, one of the wealthiest individuals in the world, has contributed $75 million to former US President Donald Trump’s election campaign in the last three months, according to a government investigation.
Musk donated the amount to *America PAC*, a campaign group supporting Trump, the Republican Party candidate for the upcoming US presidential election. Reports suggest Musk formally endorsed Trump following an incident in July, though he has backed Trump on several occasions in the past.
Musk also attended a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president was attacked.
The US election, scheduled for November, features current Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party candidate, while Trump is running from the Republican Party. Trump has announced that, if re-elected, Musk will be given significant responsibilities in his administration.
