Nepali Congress Launches Two-Day Training Program for Regional Leaders

Butwal, March 3: The two-day training for Nepali Congress regional presidents and training branch heads began today in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi, organized by the party’s Central Policy, Research and Training Institute. A total of 330 participants, including presidents from federal and state assembly constituencies and heads of training branches, are taking part in the program.
The training aims to prepare leadership appointments across 165 federal constituencies, with 260 regional presidents and training branch heads to be selected from 130 constituencies, and 70 regional presidents from 35 districts, with one federal constituency designated for this role.
Top party leaders, including Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice-President and Head of the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute Purna Bahadur Khadka, Leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala, former General Secretaries, Bimalendra Nidhi, Balkrishna Khan, Ramesh Lekhak, Arju Deuba, and others will also participate in the meeting, according to officials.
