Scientist Narayan Ghimire launches new book “Nepali Raithane Jadibuti”

Kathmandu, June 7. Narayan Ghimire, a food and medicinal herb specialist who is currently conducting research in Canada, launched his new book “Nepali Raithane Jadibuti” in Kathmandu on Monday.

The book goes into great detail regarding the medicinal value of native Nepali plants such as titepati, dhurseli, khirro, kush, timur, and moringa. The beneficial impacts of these plants on human health are also discussed in the book.

While revealing the book at the launching event, former health minister Gagan Thapa said that Nepal’s trade loss can be reversed by utilizing the miraculous benefits of these medicinal herbs.
