Balen Shah Tours Madhesh to Boost Election Momentum, Holds Roadshows in Sarlahi and Rautahat
Rautahat, Feb 11: Senior leader of the National Independent Party (NIP), Balen Shah, is currently touring Madhesh Province to energize the election atmosphere and strengthen the morale of party candidates. As part of the campaign, Shah reached Nijgadh in Bara on Wednesday after conducting roadshows in various locations across Sarlahi and Rautahat districts.
On Wednesday morning, Shah held a large roadshow in Sarlahi’s parliamentary constituency number 4, a high-profile constituency where Gagan Thapa of the Nepali Congress and Amresh Kumar Singh of the RNP are contesting the election. Shah entered the constituency via the postal route after reaching the district headquarters Malangwa from Lalbandi through Nawalpur.
Upon arriving in Rautahat from Sarlahi, Shah received a warm welcome from party cadres and the general public. Supporters in Garuda and Chandranigahpur greeted him with party flags and garlands, reflecting strong enthusiasm for his visit.
However, amid the large crowd in Chandranigahpur, a complaint was reported regarding the theft of a supporter’s gold chain, allegedly taking advantage of the congestion during the roadshow.
Throughout the events, Shah waved to supporters from his vehicle but did not deliver a formal speech. After concluding the roadshow in Rautahat by ringing a bell, he departed for Nijgadh in Bara.
According to the scheduled program, Shah is expected to travel to Birgunj in Parsa later today via Kalaiya, continuing his election tour across the region.
