Kathmandu. The Google server has gone down.
Currently, Google services Gmail and Google drive are also not functioning and all requests made get an error notice. Thousands have reported about the problem in social media.
Its not clear as to what has caused the Google server to go down.
A few days ago, there had been a similar problem in Facebook messenger service and netizens had not been able to use the service for some hours before Facebook fixed it.
(Update: After an outage of about an hour, the Google services have been restored at around 6:30 pm Nepali local time)
