Kathmandu. On Wednesday, Argentine football legend Diego Maradona passed away due to a heart attack.
The police searched Maradona’s personal doctor’s residence and private practice on Sunday to determine if there was wrongdoing on the part of the doctor that could led to a potential case of manslaughter.
Last month, the 60-year-old player had undergone surgery to dissolve a blood clot. He was released from a Buenos Aires hospital two weeks before the attack.
According to the police, following initial inquiries that involved comments from Maradona’s daughters Dalma, Giannina and Jana, the court issued a search warrant.
The medical staff has already been alleged by Maradona’s lawyer to have delayed response during the emergency.
