Raghu Ram Srinivas to guide Nepali Cricketers for ICC World Cup Qualifiers

Kathmandu, January 31. The Cricket Association of Nepal on Monday announced that it has appointed Raghu Ram Srinivas as fielding consultant coach for the National Cricket Team.

As per the official announcement, Srinivas will be guiding the players for their performance in the upcoming ICC World Cup Global Qualifiers which is scheduled in February. The team is currently being trained at the closed camp of the Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur.

In the qualifiers, Nepali team is placed in group “A” along with national teams of Oman, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

Nepal will be playing its first match with Oman on February 18. Two out of eight countries will secure their positions in the T20 World Cup.

The world cup will be held in Australia in October.
