Nepali Men Cricket team defeats Philippines in ICC World Cup Global Qualifier

Kathmandu, February 20. The global qualifier round of the International Cricket Council Men’s T20 World Cup is currently being held in the Mascot, Oman.

In Saturday’s qualifying match, Nepal defeated philippines by eight wickets. Nepal had posted 219 runs target before Philippines. Philippines made 82 runs in 20 overs and lost the game.

Earlier on friday, Nepal has madde its first win when it defeated Oman by 39 runs in the match held at the Al Amerat cricket ground. The outstanding performance of the Nepali players have made viewers believe that Nepal will succeed to the world cup.

As per the official schedule, Nepal will play its third and final match against Canada on Monday.
