Nigeria bans Twitter after Nigerian president’s tweet was removed
Kathmandu, June 8. Nigeria has banned social networking platform, Twitter after the site removed President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet. Information Minister Lai Mohammed said the government had acted because of “the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”.
